Hello, I don't know the history of this era very well, but I am interested in creating some scenarios that use armies from the areas/ppls from which I am descended, which include Alsace, Ireland, Dutch, and French Huguenots. Can anyone think of important battles and armies that involve those regions...

Hi,
I am playing a couple of different scenarios where impassable rivers are big obstacles. Is there any mechanism for pontoons or boats? It seems it would be more realistic if there was at least the chance of improvising a crossing.

Am I missing something -- is there some way to give units the ability to earn victory points by exiting the map through particular hexes? This seems like a basic feature that is missing and would add enormously to scenario design. WHat is the thinking here?

should previous games run correctly in 1.3?
I upgraded to 1.3 per instructions, but now I can't load the games I had in progress. Is that the expected behavior? Even if I start new games, how am I supposed to tell whether my new partner has installed 1.3?
