Re: Order of Battle has just been updated to version 2.9.9!

I now only get a blank screen on startup after installing 2.9.9. After a while I can press escape and get the options menu but no graphics.

Re: Some Panzer Corps iPad Questions

Really enjoying the game! One minor issue to report. When trying to move air units I am sometimes affected by a random screen jump. After selecting the unit and then scrolling to the desired point, I then click on the specific hex, an airfield for example. Instead of the movement path being displaye...

Great point, they remind me of the FOG equivalent of the Judean Peoples Front - Crack Suicide Squad from Pythons Life of Brian. In fact the resemblance is so strong i'm wondering if it's deliberate! :o :D I think I might paint some up now! For those too young to know; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...

It's an interesting point. My understanding of the medieval Halberd's use, is that was meant as an anti cavalry weapon. Use it as a spear at impact and then hook or chop the rider after that. The other issue would be that they are virtually useless against a sword armed opponent on foot, who can sim...

Not in the Tang era, but I crave a really decent Chinese four horse chariot to use with the early chinese armies. Xyston do some nice egyptian and persian ones, which I was I was thing of buying and then using some modified T'ang to morph them into the chinese ones. On another note, your Germanic ca...

This can really get my get goat. You get a nice historical matchup, out deploy yoour opponent, and get set to spring the trap! And your opponent resigns after three turns, without having had so much as unit disrupted!! Not even a sorry... :(

Thats just plain rude.

Would love to see some less heavily armoured MF to use as Hastily Raised Fubing (early tang) and perhaps some southern Auxiliaries to use as impact foot, also less heavily armoured than the current types.

Does that help?

Hi guys, just tried again. The patch now says 1 of 2 when downloading. It completes both download and validation to 100%, but when installing, it now crashes at the 15% point. Hope this helps.

Still no luck. The 1.2.9 patch downloads and installs, but the 1.3.0 just will not install. Downloads and validates, but after beginning the install phase it suddenly reverts to downloading again.

My multiplayer opponents must think I have given up!!

OK, I have tried again this morning (Australian time), and still the same problem. I am running Windows Vista. I am running 1.2.9. There are no error messages, instead the download 100% completes, it then 100% validates and begins the install stage for between 2 and 5 seconds, and then reverts to do...

1.3.0 update

I have spent the day trying to update from 1.2.8 to 1.3.0. The update first installed 1.2.9 which downloaded, vaildated and installed. It the tried to install the 1.3.0 patch, which appears to be an endless loop. I have run the update from the FOG menu, which downloads, validates, and then downloads...
