Indeed, having finally purchased the vaulted V.2, I too, would like a QRS for it.
When will it be available?

Re: Field of Glory 2.0 - coming October 18th!
There is no point in buying a product when the usability factor is compromised.
I would buy a 2nd edition book, but this PC, iPAD, Mac approach doesn't make sense when the product isn't searchable, or usable.

Commanders - CinC vs others
Is there any constraint that he CinC must be the highest quality commander vs the other commanders?
Could you have a Troop (quality) Commander for CinC while having two Field Commanders?

I like how any troop type can beat another troop type depending on your rolls & their rolls.
A lot less rock paper scissors from DBM, so a Cavalry BG surrounded by LF or LH can be brought down by shooting at a distance and once at the fragmented morale, can make a charge/direct impact & melee at an ...

Having played only a few games, really liked the following in FoG vs DBM:
The army doesn't suddenly become stupid or static (i.e., bad pip rolls) - ergo generally every unit can make one or two moves each turn - more than enough excitement.
The units act like units, not some random stand that when ...

Also, consider the Companions rather than 1 BG of Superior Cats for the same cost. You likely lose a POA vs getting elites who move faster and are more manoueverable.
Agreed. They are faster and a bit more maneuverable. Also considering the Galatian Cavalry, as maybe even the Camels - off on the ...

Later Seleucids vs Dominate Romans
Setup
Jeff & Andy graciously invited me over for a battle.
I brought my Later Seleucids (2nd time I played them).
Jeff had setup his Dominate Romans for Andy to run, while Jeff reff'd.
Seleucid Setup:
