Re: huge warscore bug

Interesting. Never had this bug in Empires or Kingdoms. I guess you saw the invisible modifier nations get for some proposals. You know when you try to Absorb them, give them insane Bargaining Points cncession, but chance is still 0%. Anyway, the thing with Rebels. If you recaptured territory from ...

Re: huge warscore bug

The problem is resolved.

Franconia sent me a peacie proposal. The warscore was correct. I sent a counter proposal with no problem, and a one hundred percent chance of being accepted.

I have no idea how this resolved itself

Very happy to hear of new DLC

The new DLC is a great idea, and I am very excited about it. I have a birthday coming up in April, and I hope it will be available then! I am delighted to read of the new scenarios, and hope we will see evem more DLCS in the future. Maybe one focused on the crusades, perhaps the first crusade and th...

huge warscore bug

I am near the end of a campaign. I am leading the world in legacy, playing as England. I started as Normandy, conquered England, then most of France and part of spain.I have plenty of money, strong armies, veteran troops, and good leaders. My nation is a stable empire.I have a large enough domain si...

Re: Court Expenses

The issue is that for the general public, CE are still a big burden. MP players tend to be more competitive and more in optimizing things. I think that the previous high level of court expenses was not good for the game, as many new players got frustrated with them. So did I, though I was able to d...

Re: 📣 Patch 1.03.5 released 📣

The issue is solved, and I am fully updated. The tech support from Digital Storm, who I bought my gaming computer from, resolved it. it had nothing to do with the game, but something that should not have been on my computer.

Re: 📣 Patch 1.03.5 released 📣

Hi Pocus, No, this issue has not been solved. I came to realize yesterday that none of my steam updates are working, and it is a problem with Steam, not the game. My son, who is very good at solving these kinds of problems, will visit soon and perhap he can fix the problem. If not, I will try the li...

Re: 📣 Patch 1.03.5 released 📣

How can I use the slitherine updater to get this patch? I have the game on Steam. I am still on the previous version, even though it appears that I have the updater turned on to update the game automatically. Every time I enter the game, I get the message that a newer version of the game is availabl...

conquering England

I started a game as Normandy, with the intent of conquering England, using the 1.03 beta patch. On my first turn, I spent a claim event on London, England. I got several other claims in England on the following turns. I concentrated on building up Normandy, especially its income. William the conquer...

Re: getting rid of the Templars

My war with the templars was a lot of fun, and it ended without my taking any territory from them. But I did get rid of their commanderies. They are now sending small forces into some of my best regious, probably intending to build a new commandery. But I send a small force of my own into the same r...

Re: getting rid of the Templars

This is how you get rid of the Templars, or any military order who has built a commandery in your regions and taking your money and reducing your authority... Go to war against them. Every one of the many commanderys in my lands were gone the turn after I declared war, and my income shot up. I also ...

Re: Freemen line of buildings

I often build freeman cottages, both for the health bonus and the chance of getting more freeman. I have not tried to calculate the percentages, but over the course of a long game I have had a significant number of peasants convert to freeman, without using an event, and only in regions that have fr...

Re: getting rid of the Templars

Thanks for the good advice. I think I will declare war on them. At least I can destroy their units and conquer their empire.

I wonder if that will get me excommunicated. I am willing to take the risk.

getting rid of the Templars

I understand that they will establish a commandery in my lands and take money from every region they have one. And that I cannot remove these buildings. It is a valid mechanic. It is also frustrating to see them establish these things in my richest regions and have their troops wander through my ter...

Re: Beware the Pope

Hi Pocus, I am playing version 1.0.2.3. Unfortunately, I do not have that save game any more. The situation was exciting, and I was responding to the challenge rather than thinking of saving the turn before the excommunication. I do remember that I had declared war on another Catholic nation on the ...

Beware the Pope

I am in the late game as Poland. I lead the game, both in legacy and Authority. I have conquered a lot of the Baltic area, and have four experienced armies of elite troops, who seem to be invincible. What could go wrong? Well, the Pope excommunicated me. A crusade was declared against me. The Templa...

Re: Tips for Byzant

I consider the neutral region corridor an exploit but I don't see an obvious answer to this ... I also consider it an exploit. An emperor who did this would lose authority. Would it be possible to impose an authority penalty on the Byzantines for each region that revolts and becomes independent? Or...

Re: Not Much Happening

I finished and won my first campaign game, as Scotland. The AI was not very aggressive and I was able to build up in peace, taking independent areas and fighting a short war with Norway that I started. But in my first game as Poland, it has been constant war, starting with turn eight, and continuing...
