BG Removed and General Refuses To Die

A BG is caught in pursuit and has an attached General that refuses to die, what happens to the General when the BG he is with is removed and there are no friendly BG's anywhere nearby?

Publish FoG V2 in PDF as a free download while the other versions are run through the print mills. I assume changes will still be made, then reprint the book when a hole is in the schedule after the Bikini Clad Nazi Zombie Flesh Eaters version.

15mm Separate Marian/Caesarean Roman Shields

Looking for 15mm Marian, Caesarean shields that can be purchased separate from the figures. I would prefer that these shields be plain with no pattern or decoration on them. Does anyone know of such? Thank you in advance.

Whoa Nellie!!!

Please help clear up some confusion on my part. :? I do not have a rulebook handy today, but as I recall the second to the last bullet defining what shock troops won't charge on their own states: * If their move could end in contact with a fortification, elephants or a riverbank (emphasis added by m...

here is the pics from the game, we made a few mistakes like forgeting the cat's were better armour and that the samatian's should have broken off from steady foot, also the aux that charged the lf and hit the samatian cv in the side should have stepped forward and caught the lf who had rolled down ...

Base them on 15mm deep bases that are magnetized. Mount a 5mm strip on the back of a metal base that you can put them on as a sabot.

Hi. I am not sure about DFW area. It was very active years ago with WRG, then collapsed for a long time. WH Ancients was popular with some a couple of years ago, but I have no idea what is going on there presently. Some years ago there was a VERY active ancients group in Abilene, and I see from tou...

My Viking Huscarls led by a General appear at the edge of a forest, slogging towards my son's Early Crusader medium foot crossbow cowering in fear ... First shooting phase results in a loss of a stand and the Huscarls go disrupted ... "Pure luck" I say! Second shooting phase results in ano...

Re: Historical Non-Fiction?

I have come to the end of my current bedtime read which was Tyrant by Christian Cameron. Previous reads have been The Eagle series by Simon Scarrow and The Conqueror series by Conn Iggulden, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Can you recommend any other good reads or authors that I can look out fo...

Disorder in FoG can be confusing I've found, especially if you've played a lot of Ancients before using those "other" rules. To me it's best to think of Disorder as a Terrain Effect, but that's hard to do when it's been a combat result, interpenetration, push back, etc result for so many, ...

Best Old Glory 15mm Later Jewish Spear Figure?

I'm looking to add Later Jewish Allies to a Late Republican Roman army (15mm, all Old Glory). It seems you can't find a picture of each of the figures that Old Glory makes and I would prefer to stay with Old Glory. Sometimes you find "spearmen" that actually look more like "javelinmen...
