I can remember seeing a thread on steam where a dev said they have the license for all 3 wars for armageddon and will do content until 2017

You can't add mods because the filesystem of the idevices won't allow it.
Perhaps on jailbroken devices BUT that would require Slitherine to allow it / support it - and supporting unsanctioned modifications via the App Store won't happen.

unlikely, it's a safe bet that slitherine is fixing those crashes as we speak.
They aren't the talkative type so let's just wait and purge the orks from the face of armageddon (soon crash free ;>)
