I enjoyed the battles I played so far. I put my gaming on hold a bit with it until a patch or 2 is out.
Usually a good idea with most games.

But 2 things I heavily miss in this game are:
1) 'skirmishers' (like Voltigeurs) or a mechanic taking them into account.
2) Guard Units. Unless they pop up ...

Over the years i bought several games from Slitherine. Fields of Glory + expansions, Spartan + Troy, History Channels Hundred Years War.
But I can't seem to find them. I'm logged in but i have no idea where to navigate to...

Ack that makes things most difficult.
Do put that option in future games like this as it makes cameracontrol very hard.

Nope it's not on the website itself. I'm just signaling the game is reviewed in this magazine. A rather positive review too at that.

After a prolonged absence I've set up a few games to entertain me in the evenings after work.

I was wondering though, when setting up scenarios one can choose your side... I presume a 'paired game' is 2 vs AI or is it 2 vs 2? And how are forces distributed for this?

Later period for the Teutonic Knights is included in Eternal Empire. Earlier version will be included in Oath of Fealty.

I play wargames a lot so I can understand the 'erratic outcomes'. It is inevitable.
Played 40K and plenty of other dice involved wargames. And if dice are involved or cards then 'chance' can always mess things up. And that's good i think. As long as it's not the norm ...
