All terribly symbolic I'm afraid - lightning relates, IIRC, to Iupitter and laurel wreath is, of course, for victory.

Is there any rhyme or reason to the design on the semi-cylindrical shields for imperial roman legionnaires? The style I notice most often are the "wings & lightning bolts" and the "laurel". Do these mean anything specific?

Just curious... are there movement trays for 15mm minis? Rather than basing them traditionally, I was thinking of using movement trays -- allows you to move the BGs faster.

Working on this theory I have considered basing all my 15mm foot on 20mm deep bases and the mounted on 40mm deep ones - should mean that you can always turn 90 degrees barring terrain obstruction :D

I like the army "batches" that Old Glory has generated for FoG... but I'm wary as they do not have any actual images of the miniatures! Can anyone shed some light on Old Glory and whether their FoG armies are any good, as far as the quality of the minis is concerned?
