Re: What's New Since 4 Years Ago?
Hi Pete thanks for that, I should look into it. I've never played a PanzerCorps mod but I had the time of my life playing through modded Pacific General and some others.

Re: What's New Since 4 Years Ago?
Hi guys thanks for that. My email notifications aren't coming through so I didn't notice replies straight away. Yes, I think I've done at least a partial play through on 1.2 if not a lot more. I opened up PzCorps this morning for the first time in years, absolutely love the format and the scenarios,...

What's New Since 4 Years Ago?
Hi all, Happy New Year! I haven't played or looked at forum in about 4 years and I wondered where we were all at with updates and if there was a real change in 'feel' of the game? I played Grand Campaign East two or three times and had a good shot at Allied Corps. Thanks in advance for your responses!

Re: Good World War 2 Books
I would be most wary of those authors who are associated with Holocaust Denial and glossing over the vile ideological heart of the Third Reich.

Re: Panzer Corps Priorities - Your Opinions
It's a long time since I played through Wehrmacht Grand Campaign and I will look forward to doing it again one day with all the great improvements. My greatest fear however is to reach 1944 and be engaged in a tedious slugfest that only involves the top end units on each side. I think the endless va...

Re: Iwo Jima - All Supply Ships at half strength???
The designers deserve a lot of credit for this game, I say it has moved the genre forward.

Re: Order of Battle Addiction
I always found that playing too long until I was excessively tired caused a throw-away kind of generalship that led to horrific losses and bitter defeats. Your loyal troops really won't appreciate it if you play for too long...

Warmington-On-Sea (Sealion)
Just wondered if Warmington-On-Sea came up in the scenarios for Sealion, as it was a key defensive location. I was hoping that an elite English unit would feature in defending it too?

'Gamechangers' film about GTA
Watched the above film about how they work at Rockstar making games. Bit of a shock really, never understood that game making was so hard driving and brutal. I'm sure everyone at Slitherine & Co works really hard for our games, but I hope you have a better work environment than Rockstar. I don't...

Re: My Review of the Various Specializations
Maybe I missed something, but does the AI use specializations? If the Japanese AI player used randomised specializations, that would give replayability to the US campaign for example.

No Fleet At Leyte
Do I get naval command points later in the scenario, or is my core US fleet not used at all? It would be good to know rhis in the briefing.

I think there might be a second wave of transports, did you get them? Used bombs on them mostly IIRC.

Thanks Adherbal. One thing I had in mind was the dazzle pattern used sometimes on ships.

An Occupied Coastline
I completely messed up New Georgia when I landed 6 hexes east of Munda Point. My landing force found itself obstructed and surrounded by numerous undetected enemy - totally annihilated my marines. My next attempt I landed further East with 3x as many units, job done. Any ideas on how to recce a host...
