Div A
Nijis (Sicilians) defeats carpenkm (German Imperial) 47-14.
A close game: the Sicilian center was on the verge of collapse when its success on the flanks broke the German army, largely due to the exploits of some very fierce (that is to say, very lucky) light cavalry.

Re: TDC IX Bronze and Early Iron Age - Results
I think I had two Div A defeats that weren't recorded. I think the second was reported but I cannot find the first.
Stones1985 (Assyrians) beat Nijis (Babylonians) 41-11.
Tyronec (Egypt) defeats Nijis (Babylonians) 60-51.

Re: TDC IX Bronze and Early Iron Age - Results
Div A Nijis (Babylonians) defeats Philistines (hscic) 41-7. Marduk's star was clearly in the ascendant, as the Babylonian arrows seemed to be guided to their opponents' breasts by a divine hand, while those that fell on their own ranks went astray. Another game where everything seemed to go right fo...

Div A Nijis (Babylonians) defeats IMC (Assyrians) 40-10. The Babylonians drew up their infantry behind a wadi, while their large force of chariots and cavalry deployed on the flanks. The Assyrians attacked, but just before the lines made contact the shadow of the moon fell across the sun, which the ...

Re: TDC IX Early Medieval - Results
Div A:
Nijis (Sicilians) defeats Hari72 (Poles) 47-15.
The battle focused on a ridge that ran between the two armies. The Sicilians' Lombard crossbowmen and Arab foot boldly stormed the heights, whose rocky terrain reminded them of their shared homeland.

Re: TDC IX Early Medieval - Results
Div A: Nijis (Sicilians) defeats Triarii (Germans) 46-20. The disciplined German infantry routed the Sicilian center in a battle that raged over rolling hills, but on the left flank the ardent southern knights swept away their opposition. A valiant stand in rocky terrain by javelin-throwers took one...

Ah, that's unfortunate. It might just be the size of the terrain and the collider, which are 4096 x 4096.
Typically you'd want a game to use the discrete graphics card rather than the integrated one, right? What are your cards, if I could ask?
Thanks for testing!

So, here's the new version: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/i8qwzx71m1047pj49ji25/Tides-of-Conquest-1.029-Feb24-2026.zip?rlkey=kivrxjnrh67tfw9zm19i7t8cu&st=6ze9tiyc&dl=0 I hope it lowers the load on GPU/CPU. It also adds the various other features described above. I've tested it for bugs, but...

Div A Nijis (Babylonians) defeats ulysisgrant (Hittites) 43-14. The heavy chariots of the Hittites and their Aramean allies was met by a Babylonian force of generally lighter chariots and camels. Lucky shooting allowed the Babylonians to weather the initial impact, while their infantry moved up to w...

Re: Tides of Conquest campaign tool - new version with Bronze Age scenarios and icons out April 21 2023
Just to update, I am currently working on these issues: 1) Lots of optimizations so that the game places less of a strain on GPU/CPU 2) A button to print out the turn's battles 3) Fixing save as XML 4) Several options to reduce or eliminate the fast-forward after leader death 5) Scrolling by moving ...

Re: Tides of Conquest campaign tool - new version with Bronze Age scenarios and icons out April 21 2023
Thanks! I'm really glad that you're enjoying it. There should be a "singleplayer options" link on the top panel, under the year, campaign ID etc. You can turn off the time passing entirely, if you want. I should add more options for shorter waits, as both you and GLeech have requested it. ...

Div A
Nijis (Sicilians) defeats Cherebuschka (Armenian Cilician) 63-28.
Both sides fielded large contingents of heavy cavalry, including Norman knights. The battle ultimately hinged on whose horsemen returned to the fight first after vanquishing and pursuing their foes.

Re: TDC IX Bronze and Early Iron Age - Results
Div A Nijis (Babylonian) draws (?) random27 (Syro-Canaanite), 62 to 60 An extremely tight battle, as is clear from the score (60% losses for Babylonian, 62% for Syro-Canaanite). The end-of-battle message told me that our armies broke off from mutual exhaustion, but the after-battle briefing reported...

Re: TDC IX Bronze and Early Iron Age - Results
Div A Nijis (Babylonian) defeats Bodhran (Neo-Hittite/Aramean) 62-56. An extremely close game. Aramean chariots swept aside the Babylonian right, but their infantry finished off the more disciplined but less numerous enemy foot in the center. With their own chariotry all but destroyed, the foot grou...
