Looking to sell a few armies...
I'm so busy with the rest of my life and I have some nicely painted stuff sitting around gathering dust. Since I play maybe once every three months I am just going to stick with my Romans and Parthians, and hell someone might be able to talk me out of my LRR. Everything below is fully painted to a h...

Another problem with LB is that all MF LB are also SW . I do not know why they are SW, but it makes them real thought opponents . I wonder why CB are never rated SW, there must be a reason  , but it makes them poor opponents , compared to LB . And CB need 5s shooting at LB who need 4s ...

I've charged Knights into LB before and it's really not that bad unless you don't disorder them as you are only -1 on Impact and even in melee. As almost all Knights are Superior just toss a leader with them and rerolling 1s and 2s should help balance it out. If you don't knock them down a level it...

Palmyran Cataphracts in 15mm...
Looking to get a wave of these painted up, does anyone know of a good distributor? I will only buy from companies whose models I can see pictures of, I consider ones to lazy to snap a shot with a digital camera to be scrubs and I'm not dealing with ordering one pack to see if they suck. Thanks for a...

I think its the way my camera captures them as I too thought I dusted them when dull-coating. But they don't look the same in person. I'm quite proud of these but they look like Sh!TTe in the pictures. Oh, well. Madcam. I really like them, the colors look nice. My models always look bad when I try ...

I was thinking from the standpoint of Scots spearmen and or french knights. heavy foot would take a minimum of 3 volleys before they made contact which seems really tough to get through. Would there be any point in dismounting knights if the LB don't have stakes? also -- is there a poa for HF vs MF...

Before everyone hops on a plane in search of Katie I feel it only fair to point out that she is now married and probably the only gamer who had to drag her boyfriend to a wargames comp :D <sigh> What a woman! Marc I would not want a GF or wife who played. One of the reasons I play this crap is to G...

Re: The Playing Possum Strategy
Hey Guys, I just wanted to throw out a question about gaming style. Being a Roman player I find my opponent often times not advancing towards my line but rushing his usually superior cavalry out to defeat mine before his main line advances. Now being Roman I want to mix it up as soon as possible. I...

My internet access is a little sporadic so I have not been able to read (or respond) for a while. You may be interested to know a discussion is now taking place internally and we are still not entirely sure about the 25mmm comp format. The competition will definitely be held however. Four months to...

I think my idea, with some testing and polish, fits better with the idea of the point system, and my half thought out idea makes more sense with FoG math than everything being the same value for attrition. The whole idea of the point system is to create a fair and balanced battle, all troops being ...

So far there is little evidence that having more BGs makes a significant impact on an armies performance. I posted some stats in another thread on the average size of BG in the tournaments at Britcon. Granted if you look at the 15mm comp then the largest army in terms of BGs won but looked at anoth...
