Re: how do i get tech support for graphics problem

Success! Many thanks indeed Paulo and Richard. Appears I needed to download the most recent version od NVIDIA in order to have the Stereoscpoic 3D attribute to turn off to make it all work - which it now does. Not sure why the download had not happened automatically but no matter - all is well. Many...

Re: how do i get tech support for graphics problem

I tried typing "dxdiag" into the "open:" box and clicked Ok which did bring up the direct X box - I have saved all the information from the video tab and forwarded this directly to Paulo - there were no tests to run though that I could see.

Re: how do i get tech support for graphics problem

sorry, no luck. "windows" + "R" gets me a pop-up box titled "Run". Options are to "open:" but there are no choices if I click the drop arrow. Or I have the option to "Browse" which just lists all my directories such as "documents". There is...

Re: how do i get tech support for graphics problem

Thanks for the help - no luck so far as my NVIDIA Control Panel does not have the Stereoscopic 3D sub directory that apparently needs changing.

Any other suggestions most gratefully received.

Thanks, gary

Re: how do i get tech support for graphics problem

Thanks again Richard - I have uninstalled the game and then reinstalled - same issue with the graphics remained. I then followed your suggestions - verified cache - all files valid - deleted local content - reinstalled 3rd time - graphics still wrong. Basically all the intro screens are good, as are...

Re: how do i get tech support for graphics problem

thank you Richard - I did load the game via steam but cannot see any way to re-install (do I uninstall it off my computer first?) - and their help is virtually non-existent - just searches of their support topics which is proving futile. There does not appear to be any way to log a specific query th...

how do i get tech support for graphics problem

I have loaded Pike & Shot - the intro graphics are fine but once the game starts I only have red/green/blue fuzzy ghost images - no clear graphics at all.

How do I get support to fix this - searching the forums does not help.

Sorry - returning after a long abscence - which Yahoo group please and why not an official one here - just the pages from the back of the rule book as a download?
Thanks

4x8 is vast? I'd consider that the minimum size for 650 pts in 25mm. 800 pts I'd want 5x9 Most (if not all actually) of our 25/28mm comps are 600 points on 6x4 tables. So I guess going to 800 points and retaining the 1 inch mu means that 8 foot wide and 4 foot deep is "pro-rata" correct (...

Since I am acquiring the larger size tables for BIG BOYS I am thinking of running a doubles comp - the proportional upscale for 800 points on a 6x4 table to 8x4 table would be 1066 points - an auspicious year in itself. Can anyone suggest terrain rules and are there any other rules that are normally...

Actually a total of 6 commanders were destroyed in the battle - one of mine died gloriously leading a bg of elephants as it crushed some warband while my Inspired C-in-C was trampled by some other warband as they chased down a bg of routing clubmen - and I had kept him out of the front line and ever...

And as Mikek pointed out page 46 makes it quiet explicit about what constitutes moving at least 3mu - bugger - missed that bit.

Hi Ian - I agree with you that moving short referes to the part of the base moving the most - so if at least some point of the base moves its full move then it has not moved short - of course this also means that it must have wheeled if one corner has moved more than another. I think the answer to y...
