Re: Order of Battle: Pacific Screenshots Revealed
I assume this is a "spiritual successor" to Pacific General ? This game really looks fabulous in many ways, but in some it doesn't so here's some (hopefully) constructive criticism of appearance: 1) It's commonly-known that the BEST way to identify ships (or specific ship classes) is by th...

Re: The perfect Easter Egg for a wargamer! Up to 50% off….
Tried 4 codes all were used last night, but the egg said they were good. Sorta like finding a Special Egg at a hunt, and having a bully snatch it away just as you go to redeem it, in front of the person running the hunt, and that person saying it was all your own fault. Ian, Letting someone think t...

Re: The perfect Easter Egg for a wargamer! Up to 50% off….
Let's try and keep things pleasant guys. We recognise that some people felt their time got wasted, but as Iain says - it was supposed to be a bit of fun . We definitely don't want people getting worked up about it with one another :). Well, it was supposed to make your company some money, that's re...

Re: The perfect Easter Egg for a wargamer! Up to 50% off….
I don't see why a problem. Cute idea. Those who don't want or need a discount, and didn't waste hours trying to get one, don't have a problem and think it's "cute". I understand that. I don't really understand the backlash either, the first post was pretty clear about how it worked I thin...

Easter Egg Hunt, or how a seemingly great idea can get so much undeserved negative results. (I mean come on guys, aren't you supposed to be grown men, you whine louder than teenagers (I have one I know). What the heck is with so many grown men in this hobby whining all the time about the cost of wa...

Re: What game would you like to see next?
Didn't know the history behind Pacific General, but yes, I also found it a dissapointment. The biggest problem for me was realising that the AI almost never moved its artillery - literally you could set it up so it was supposed to attack you, and the AI would move its tanks/infantry forward leaving...

Re: The perfect Easter Egg for a wargamer! Up to 50% off….
I found four of the 30% eggs (I cant imagine where the 40% or 50% eggs might be, probably only one of each, if they even exist at all) but ALL of them were used up when I went to checkout! A fifth egg I found on site said it was used up when I hovered the mouse, but the other four didnt, until I got...

Re: Panzer Corps 1.5 Wish List!
I second the motion, adding all Pacific General special abilities for air/land units and especially a simulation of tate naval engine, so that Pacific campaigns and a German naval Z-Plan campaign can be made, by Lordz and/or as fan mods. I'd be seriously stunned if anything close to this scale was ...

Re: Panzer Corps 1.5 Wish List!
Slither, I would love PzC to add in 2 main things, upgrade to Naval, Night turns. From the original PacGen manual. Naval: I second the motion, adding all Pacific General special abilities for air/land units and especially a simulation of tate naval engine, so that Pacific campaigns and a German nav...

Re: What game would you like to see next?
A Japanese campaign will also require a more robust engine for naval warfare (see: Pacific General). The current PzC system really isn't geared toward naval battles. My guess is that the devs are taking an evolutionary approach to building out the PzC engine and have some other improvements/innovat...

Re: What game would you like to see next?
My vote is DEFINITELY Western Allies ETO -especially Americans starting at Torch. I love their aircraft and special infantry! Allied General was one of my favorite old games and I would love to see it reborn here!
As this is the standing majority, can we expect that next?
