Re: Panzer Corps 2: Research Tree
Sounds interesting. Something like stealing a prototype from the enemy (if you don't steal it in time they get it to attack you instead). A special reward for a DV in Bonus scenarios, such as being given a unit that you can upgrade 6 months earlier than scheduled. Just not to many of them so they do...

Re: A few questions...
Hi Rick, 1. To rename a unit just select it and press <alt>n 2.Essentially you have bought 4 campaigns. To the left of the postcards on the start menu are 3 icons.A cog, a German cross and a palm tree. selecting these will start the tutorial, the panzer corps or vanilla campaign, and the Africa Corp...

Re: Stats, Stats and more damned lies.
So, any feedback, suggestions/wishes are welcomed. It's about 500Kb, to big to attach here, so here's the link: http://www.sendspace.com/file/b1y6wh 8) That is a brilliant piece of work! It conveys the entire series concept simply and understandably. I wish I had this in the early days when ...

Re: Panzer Corps 1.5 Wish List!
I always thought it would be cool if you could create(buy) a new unit, and then transfer experienced troops and heroes to them from existing units. IE in an AAR - Lt Von Hersher has been promoted to captain and placed in charge of the newly formed 14th Panzer regiment. His in depth knowledge of reco...

Re: briefing.htm
Oh, I know how to proceed :) But I want to deactivate the entire intel briefings... So I can start a campaign without being forced to read them or watching a white screen... Is this possible ? I am quite sure the game is hard coded to display the briefings at the start and you probably can't stop i...

show up at the train station (18th century), be there in person (19th C.), plan on delivery in time for production or use (20th C.), or get wired and expect minimal delay (early 21st C.). WTF dude. Get some perspective, you waited 15 minutes. Also a refund is given when you return the goods. As the...

Re: +3 init, but 50% of casualties fired back
It is 20% advantage per point so +3 is 60% of 4 strength points, rounds to 50% or 2.

Well here it is. Panzer Corps V1.13 Unit Guide.zip Just a simple excel spreadsheet with tabs devoted to each unit class. I have moved relevant data together such as move and movement tpe, various attacks and rate of fire. I have removed some extraneous information or moved it out of the initial view...

How do I upload files to the forum.
Hello, I am trying to upload an excel spreadsheet. It says no XLSX extension allowed. I then tried XLS,DOC and TXT. All with the same annoying outcome. Is this a permission thing and if so could I please have permission to upload about 180kB of XLS/XLSX type file. If it's not then any suggestions? T...

Stats, Stats and more damned lies.
Hey I was just wondering if anybody would like to access the data for PzC in a sensible way. My quest began when I became obsessed about series units being cheaply upgradable. I soon discovered that there is loads of information available within the game for anyone statistically obsessed. I am a nov...

Re: Some thoughts on replacements
Excellent analysis Case23 8) My own use of replacements is the same as yours - IE I over-strength /elite replace between scenarios and do a cost benefit analysis during the scenario. My simple rule is look at the tool tip cost analysis. If it won't drop them below a star point thresh-hold I will gre...

Re: Long term suppression or not?
No not the suppression types I have described above. You can see when the opponent goes first in a few scenarios, they attack and suppress your units but once it is your move they are hale and hearty once again (provided they survived). have just been browsing the Equip file and found that there is ...

Re: Long term suppression or not?
Hate to be impertinent but - All suppression ends at end of turn or end of close (as opposed to ranged) combat. Artillery and Strategic Bombers cause long term suppression. It remains after the unit causing it has completed it's combat and is cumulative. For example Arty 1 bombards a unit of 10 stre...

Re: Panzer Corps Grand Finale: a DLC and an update!
Hello, Just wanted to say thanks to the creators and the community for a simply excellent game. I am up to DLC 41 and have just decided to restart because now I finally know how almost everything works (and of course there is an upgrade to install). This forum is a great tool with loads of useful in...
