I think that the tiles themselves are too imbalanced as such. Most of the Area is generic. The only really good types are mountains (3 minerals if there is a mine) and flatlands (3 food if there is a farm) everything else is just "random stuff" which doesn't really matter. Then there are a...

If you spend one of their 3 movement points however they will appear on the Next Turn button.

I don't see a big problem with the balancing of the arties. I see the problem in the AI which is not able to use arties itself and is also not able to do anything against enemy arties.
I am pretty sure that they would work out fine if two human players played against each others.

Checked it out and got the same error Canute reported.
Also tried it without the "-" in between the numbers but no difference.
Got my beta key at 5.9.2013 19:20 (Central European Summer Time) GMT+2, so maybe this batch of keys was not entered in some kind of multiplayer DB?

Exactly. However my troops were consisting of 1 starting unit with a power of 2 and one tank with a power of 5. Hey Dewy 2 gig of RAM is what you needed to have in an XP machine. And while Win7 isn't as hungry as Vista, you should defintely stock up your memory. Not sure what is going on with AI not collecting ruins, he should be doing it. I agree he doesn't go for splash damage enough, he needs a strategy for that, currently it's random if he goes for it afaik. We're doing a bunch of tweaks in the next version.
