Folks I have ordered my set from amazon, I am sitting with a load of unpainted lead just now, can anyone tell me the unit sizes for Jacobite Irish horse and foot just now?
I take it that the pike and shot bases will be in a ratio of 5 shot to 1 pike, is that correct?

As for tercio's look in the front part of the rules page 30 you will see how the early tercio looks, 3 ranks of pike 2 base shot horns out front and a single base horn out back thus 9 total. Pikes in the middle shot on either side. If you had 8 it would be a lopsided and very unGerman tercio. It is...

I wasn't sure about the Milites classification either, but as they are classed in DBM as KN(F) and I read elsewhere on this forum that they shall be classed as cavalry up to 1040 and as knights thererafter, I thought it would be safe bet to go for the knights option in the 1066 campaign. There is an...

Normans

Guys Just inherited a large force of 28mm Normans, I would like to use them just now so I have tried to manufacture a temporary list that would be acceptable until the DA book comes out. I have tried to mix the DBM Book 3 list 51 (Normans) with the Swords & Scimitars Early Crusader lists. Is the...
