Re: Why Such Bad Japanese in Soviet Corps?

I agree that the script against the Japanese in Manchuria made badly where the fighters Mitsubishi A6M and Ki-43 and the tanks Type 97 “Chi-ha” \ “Shinhoto Chi-ha” ? where the Japanese kamikaze units ? nothing

Re: Panzer Corps Priorities - Your Opinions

Dear developers, the priorities of the game alone make the last DLC Grand company for the Soviet Union and the Japanese company. Since the Americans won the second world is nice but I would like to play in a more historical and the great mission )

Yes Khalkhin Gol is a very rare scenario and could be a great start to the Soviet campaign. No unlikely developers for one scenario will make the Japanese troops.

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

I doubt the expediency to use the tank as a vehicle, many players will perceive the tank riders as a variety of infantry (танковый десант or Panzergrenadiers) and not as an attempt to create a vehicle. Or get too simplistic or too complicated.

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

Slightly off topic new units. Why not make one scenario (eg bonus) in the Soviet Corp., showing the war in the Arctic Circle in the Murmansk region (such as the protection of convoys Lend Lease or Petsamo 44). This would make the game more diverse and would show the entire width of the front, from A...

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

I'm not aware of the Germans using as many Tank riders as the Soviets, as they had enough trucks and half-tracks to motorize the infantry battalions in the Panzer divisions. Panzergrenadier is also a title that only became official in 1942-1943, before that the motorized infantry regiments in a Pan...

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

There's a difference between infantry riding on tanks where the tank is a transport to the battlefield at most and infantry riding on tanks where the tank is actually moving the infantry into battle. Just like the difference in doctrine between Allied and German motorized infantry employment (for t...

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

tank riders idea seems interesting but then you have to do tank riders for all parties that would be objective. And how to maintain balance? regular infantry is not needed).

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

If done wisely, you need to select some groups of units of different time periods (at least a beginning, a middle and an end of war) That is why I have difficulty with making good suggestions. Uran21 gave and asked for some ideas for early war units, but for some types (self-propelled artillery/ant...

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

Why add to the game such rarities and prototypes, as SU-1-12 even when there is no certainty of their participation in the early war ??? When the Soviet has a tank artillery support BT-7A (produced 155 copies) and a tank assault support kV-2 (produced 334 copies). Just do for them switches (tank/art...

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

Thanks for the contribution, Izgar, nice pictures. Are those Fedorov Avtomat (Автомат Фёдорова) I see in the hands of the three soldiers? That is a very rare weapon, were they used during WW2? Anyway, some more suggestions: Tanks Flamethrower tanks would be nice, some examples of models: OT-133 (ba...

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

OK, I'll add some ideas, but it is quite difficult, as a lot of units were produced only in very small numbers, and I don't like too many 'what-if' models. But since there was a request for suggestions and upgrade paths for units in some specific classes (early self-propelled artillery, etc.), I ha...

Re: Soviet Corps - new units suggestions

Nevertheless standart Soviet infantry battalion was armed with 12 (Maxim machine guns) as well about 30-35 light machine guns DP-27 (Dyagterev) 82mm mortars and 45-mm antitank guns as well as ptrs-41 (ptrd-41). P.S. but the number of infantry weapons of the Red Army did not always correspond to real...
