So for charging you can wheel in front of the enemy to hit any unit you wish as long as the number of stands you come in contact with equal or exceed the number stands you would contact if you went straight ahead. Really simple question but if you only have two dice and you are suppose to lose one dice per 3 are you down a die?
Also can you go down to zero dice or stop at one.

When is this roll done? Immediately after the combat? If so then the cohesion roll is a minus 2 if both the general was killed and lost a combat. (two reasons for a cohesion test).
