Re: tanks and ranks recruitment slot errors
Yeah, they said there were going to fix that error, but you're right, was not high on the list.
I haven't actually tried to play with that to see if it works, I skipped it because of the error.

Re: Request after playing first two Rogue missions
I recommend downloading the rulebook from Devil Pig Games. It does a real good job of explaining an assault and explaining the mechanics. I'm not sure how the percentage is calculated. My guess is it just kinda figures the optimal roll you need to beat the optimal defense roll of the opponent. For t...

Re: REFUND?
I saw the patch and it answered all my concerns so I went over to steam to purchase the game. Alas, the sale was over so I'll wait for the next one. :? Even thought the price went up, I think it's still a great purchase. More content is coming as well. So if the patch has addressed your concerns, i...

Patch 1.06 Thanks
Thanks. The patch seems stable. Only played one small skirmish match and the dice rolling does seem so much more friendly. I've never claimed to be an expert on the game, so this will also help me to work on tactics and movement options. So far so good.

Re: QUESTION: Is there a way to cancel an Assault?
Before I click on the Dice I go to the upper right corner and click on the circle. It backs out of whatever you started to do. Maybe your game is different than mine? I initiated an assault, and I don't see any circles to click on to cancel the assault. I have the bar at the bottom that shows the %...

Board Game vs PC
I just wanted to put something together that compares aspects of the board game and the PC game. I didn't go deep into game mechanics, but hopefully explain some of the differences and similarities. Please excuse the coughing, my wife and I are sharing a cold back and forth :( One thing I did forget...

Re: QUESTION: Is there a way to cancel an Assault?
In HoN PC all attacks can be backed out before execution by hitting the red X in the box below. As far as I know it is only the Assault that can't be backed out of. I usually set up an attack and then hit the X to look at all possibilities. You can even look at attacks before a vehicle moves as wel...

Re: Alternating Order Placement Option
I forgot that multiplayer is not real time and that if you are waiting on your opponent, the start of the game could take days to start a turn

Re: QUESTION: Is there a way to cancel an Assault?
It's like any other game that uses a pick up and place type action. Once you take your hand off then you are commited to the action. There's no take backs in chess. But, as long as you leave your fingers on the piece no move is made. So, once you let go of that chit in the game it's just like makin...

Re: REFUND?
I'm not going to buy without a save feature so I'm done here for now. If and when it's ever included, I'll take another look. I'm writing this post mostly for the devs and hope they understand how important it is to save a game in the middle of a battle (even a fairly short one) for some people who...

Re: QUESTION: Is there a way to cancel an Assault?
I didn't see a way to cancel an assault. Looks like once you dropt the counter, you are committed. It would be a nice feature, just put in the undo option like you do for movement.

Re: skirmish battles just end
Uncle joe, you make some good points. I think options are just that, options. If you had the option to remove turn limits and that is what two players in a custom game agree too, then that should be their choice. In the board game, it has rules to cover up to 8 turns and the largest battles can take...

One more suggestion, the dice rolling camera
Hey guys, thanks for all the great work on the game and quick responses and support. I have one more suggestion that I would like to see. I would like to see the dice rolling camera feature that CoH Storms of Steel has implemented into the game. I love that feature and attach the camera to my dice t...

Alternating Order Placement Option
I would like to see an option for alternating order placement like we see in the board game. I haven't tried multiplayer yet, so I'm not sure if they do it there, but in single player, I would like to see the option. I mean, really, the computer doesn't care and it doesn't track your order placement...

Re: skirmish battles just end
To be honest, you can just turn off scoring for all I care. I like what you have now in terms of scoring, but what you can do is just simply turn off scoring when folks start using the options. I really would like to see an end to turn limits on skirmish games as well, or at least the option to twea...

Editor Support
Hello, I never realized there was a Slitherine support forum over here for Conflict of Heroes. The Matrix page is pretty much dead it seems, well last time I went was a few months ago. I was having trouble with the mission editor and was told "Good luck getting support". Is that the case? ...

Unit Editor
Along with a mission editor, will there be a unit editor? I would love the chance to see players and fans to create custom content to include more units from the east front for example. LnL Heroes of Stalingrad had a great community of modders and I'd love to see the Heroes of Normandie game get sim...

Possible pre-built army error
Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but wanted to clarify if I'm maybe reading these wrong. I went to play a skirmish game against the pc and started looking at the army builds. I found an error on the German Tanks 'n Ranks platoon build. You have Magnetic Mines purchased but they do not match ...
