is it possible to bypass period restrictions in multiplayer battle construction.

In other words, a friend wants to play a particular army...I would like to play another, but cannot because of period restrictions...how does one get around that? or is it possible?

Am I correct in noticing that you cannot fight out battles in FoGII when playing multiplayer...or are we just doing something wrong....I don't see the option during replay.

Is there a tech tree somewhere that shows what the tier I, II, and III builds are, and what the requirement are?

is there a quick and easy way to change the unit highlight color for things like units within a command...I'm having trouble resolving it...my screen doesn't look anything like the image on p61 of the ebok manual...my game is much lighter and harder to see...and I'm not colorblind...it just doesn't ...
