I expected a little more comments about the generals issue I proposed?

I was wondering what other people had to think about the points I raised?

Especially if they are exactly the same for all armies, why should anyone need to pay for their first three generals???

I like the idea of a FoG TNE.

We would need a separate thread per army discussed but that would seem to make sense. This might also evolve into something that list notes could be created from.

There was quite a lot of stock of Immortal Fire at Salute. I picked up a copy having not got round to ordering via Amazon.

A limitation of the game system is also that there can be only one BG of elephants (IIRC) whereas the indications are that Pyrrhus may have used them on each wing and I would like to simulate this on the tabletop.

Just to clarify as far as cohesion tests go the table on p.113 is clear that the -1 is for any one of the factors listed (which includes 'Any troops testing for having lost close combat even partly against elephants or scythed chariots'.

Seems entirely reasonable to me. One of my thoughts was to have a mounted commander with a foot officer or standard on the same base to identify the CinC and have the other commanders as single figures.

For 15mm and smaller I use craft sticks with either blutack or PVA to keep the figures on. The craft sticks are cheap and reusable. I've got multi coloured ones so I tend to group units by the colour of the craft stick.
