Re: The game is so dark, how do I make it brighter?
Thanks, Pip. Nice to know what the problem is. I suppose I'll have to upgrade my video drivers, etc.

Re: The game is so dark, how do I make it brighter?
I tried w/no shadows, but no success. I've attached the Dxdiag file as a zip. I can't get a screenshot zipped because of the 256Kb restriction. BTW, Panzer Corps plays just fine, so I'm not sure what's causing the lighting problem. Thanks for the help.

The game is so dark, how do I make it brighter?
I just purchased BA but the game screen doesn't display like the bright scenery in the game trailers. What is wrong? Everything is so dark. In the first scenario (Desert) if I move the cursor towards the fort, then that area lights up, but when I move it back to my units then it becomes dark again. ...

Re: American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
I see the cross after I submit a new post, but not when I try to edit an old post in order to delete it. If you could delete my posts with only "delete" in them, that's all I'm trying to do. Thanks.

Re: American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
How does one delete posts that are no longer needed? (Such as mine above designated as "skip" after having consolidated info in the first post of this thread.)

There are 8 pngs in toto, the Infantry designs are by VPaulus.

Re: American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
I did install GME, perhaps I didn't set the path properly, etc. I'll fidget with it. As for "Poser" creations, they appear rather sophisticated, not to mention expensive in some cases. Anyway, I managed to work the unit layer with Paint.net, now it's all about time, effort, and creativity....

Re: American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
Thanks. I'll try Gimp and see if I can succeed with that program. BTW, how does one load the pzscn file into the GME?
That seems to require a .mep file extension?

Re: American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
That's an interesting idea. Now the flag bearing units can reflect the more elite infantry, etc. Nice work.
I'll try to apply these as soon as I can. Thanks.

Re: American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
That is a lot of work. I'm impressed. And you are correct, I have a lot of study & work to do yet. It amazes me how much scope there is in designing such units and creating diverse mods with the exceptional PzC editor. Appreciate the assistance. As soon as I am able to update the units (step-by-...

Re: American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
That looks great. How do I apply that? Do I sub your Inf. icon png for the PzC Romanian/Hungarian Inf. icon pngs.
And how do you design stuff like that? Is there a program specifically meant to create such mods? Thanks.

American Civil War: Cold Harbor, 1864 Scenario
I'm reposting my finished debut scenario attempt and placing the required attachments to play Cold Harbor, 1864, in the beginning of this thread (in order to avoid confusion as to which files need to be downloaded). VPaulus' CSA & Union Infantry designs have been incorporated along with mine (ut...

Re: Editor Sidebar Vanished
You were absolutely correct. It was hidden on the edge (left border of the screen). I dragged it back after hovering the mouse cursor at the edge of the frame. Thanks so much. Now I can get back to creating scenarios again.

Editor Sidebar Vanished
I can no longer access the sidebar (template that covers terrain to zones categories). It disappeared; even after uninstalling and reinstalling PzC and its add-ons. Is there some toggle button I might have inadvertently pressed? This is baffling. Is it some idiosyncrasy with the program, my operatin...

Re: American Civil War Campaign Design
Being new to creating scenarios/campaigns endeavors, I was pleased to have created one that worked, although it needs to be pared down; it was experimental anyway. Now I will try to create ACW scenarios (and later hopefully piece them together in ACW campaign form) and will use relevant PzC units (e...

Re: American Civil War Campaign Design
Is there an easy way to make ACW units icons and just substitute for the PzC ones in ACW scenarios/campaigns (since there are Cavalry, Cannons, and Infantry already available in PzC (only the units stats, names, etc., would have to be modified)? Also, can scenarios be made to conceal all terrain unt...

American Civil War Campaign Design
Can the Panzer Corps Editor be used to create an American Civil War Campaign? Or is someone at Slitherine already working on a 1861-1865 Campaign utilizing the Panzer Corps design? BTW, sometimes I get captured units in Panzer Corps, how does that happen? Is it any area my units control where enemy ...
