Ancient/Medieval History Books
I buy most of my books on line now, where as 20 years ago used to go into the History Book store in the city every week to buy what was new. as a result, I probably miss a lot of the new good stuff being released.... Thought we could have a section that details good books on the topic above.... At l...

I always loved Numidians under DBM, though I only ever played one tourney with them, getting 12th out of approx 40 odd. I just loved playing with them socially. DBM was alwasy great at 350 points, I would assume having a lower value in FoG with Numidians would be better than a higher points game. Le...

What are THE armies to play....
Just curious if any army types are comign to the fore as better than others....
I ask as I have heard some scuttlebut that the Numidians are the worst of the 1st supplement, so wondering if the armies are pretty even, or if certain troop types are starting to dominate....
Cheers

Can we get a gallery of pictures of games being played posted, to give zest to us that do not have access to the game/rules at the moment....
Perhaps the topic could be sticky'ed as I am sure everyone would be interested in seeing some good 'ol action pics...
Cheers

Ambushes
Ambushes, just curious if someone could give me an indication as to how they work? What size force can you have in concealment? Over what part of the board (i.e. does it have to be in the flanks/on your side of the table, etc)? Merely ask to get my juices flowing (I like light armies that mess with ...

I have pre ordered the rules, but through Amazon, togther with the Rise of Rome book. Which would mean that I would not be able to get the Beta lists I guess...oh well. I like armies with solid battle lines of infantry with the cavalry on each end, and lots of skirmish troops to play with. Pretty mu...

My Problem
I like what I see with these rules..... And I have been saving money to get a professional painted army. The money is there. I am ready to go. BUT don't have the lists to see what I need to order, which means I need to wait til Feb before I order my army, which means I need to wait months til I actu...
