Thank you!

I'm using mostly Eureka Miniatures and they should fit four to a base if I echelon them. As these bases will be used in two ranks, I will try action poses for the front bases and more relaxed poses plus atl-atl figures for the second rank of bases.

Rossco.

Basing Aztec Novices

Hi folks. I am currently painting a 28mm Aztec army and I would appreciate some good advice on basing the figures. I have a variety of novice troops armed with obsidian-studded clubs, spears and atl-atls. Do I mix them together on the same base, or are the spearmen, hand weapons, and atl-atl figures...

Update.

Posters on the Oz_FoG Yahoo! list have talked me into making the Cancon FoG tournament 800 points instead of 725 points.

I will post the full details here once they have been finalised.

Ross Dawe.

Lawrence has noted some of my newbie mistakes. :)

Here is another one: a general with a BG only raises its quality for close combat. The general does not raise the BG quality in other phases such as shooting or in the joint action phase.

Tried a FoG Learning Game with Young Players

Hi folks. The other evening I tried a doubles game of FoG, with one of the players on each side being a junior (one 13, the other 10). Both kids enjoyed the game and found the basic mechanisms relatively straight forward to learn. The other adult player was new to FoG and was delighted to see his Ne...

Hi, I'm one of the recent wave of people who have a beta copy of FoG from preordering the rules. I have beta version 6.00 dated 19/11/07. My initial impression of FoG is overall quite favourable. The rule book seems to be clearly written, as I have been able to find things fairly quickly via the Glo...

Many of us Australians aren't limited to small tables either.

I agree that for 25mm figures, using 1 MU = 40mm would be better. That would allow the game to scale up properly for those of us who sometimes like to play with the 'big figures'.
