DLC Scenarios standalone with outdated troups ?

Whenever I touched Panzergeneral I again (after having won everything), I didn't start a campaign, but tried the scenarios standalone which was a challenge with the potpourri of troups, so instead of a huge Tiger force, I had a mixture of Panzer III and IV. Now, how does this work with the DLC scena...

If you had only one wish to improve Panzercorps...

If you had only one wish for Panzercorps improvement, what would it be? Mine would be an advanced AI mode where AI spends much more time in thinking and hence reacts more flexible and challenging, more manoeuvering with less overwhelming odds. I'd be happy to wait 5mins or so for the AI to sort out...

I had the secret hope of a display-mod making PC look as PG1, but I didn't dare to propse it since I thought the developers will ban me forever. Why would we want to ban you for this? :) Since you spend so much time making it look modern and somebody turns up wishing it would be 2d with the sprites...

I think it's realsitic.
A movement hero doesn't put a giant turbo into the Tigertanks, he is just very well organized or clever in aquiring and making use of transport resources.

Panzer Corps might not be the most spectacular game graphics wise, but it is pretty nevertheless. Just like the sprites of Panzer General I/II could still be used today unlike those of the later 3D abominations of the series. I had the secret hope of a display-mod making PC look as PG1, but I didn'...

P.S. I really wonder why no one is concerned with the fact that the Sturmpanzer only can carry 4 ammo. Compated to the 15cm towed artillery (it got same HA and SA as the Sturmpanzer) which got 7 its only half as much. Considering artillery uses ammo on offense and quite often multiple times on defe...

Interesting! Final verdict, which path or which battles did you like the most? Except for the rather special quality of Wassigny... something about Arras which seems more conventional is also brilliant: It's defense - offense - defense and it is quite a challenge, I experienced the same. You are pe...

Bugreport

I am glad the game never crashed (thumbs up), so no devastating bugs, however I noticed: -Strategic Transport: once you pressed that button (e.g. to see how far the train goes), there's no way back, the unit is dealt as if it had already moved (with truck transport, you can switch forth and back). T...

Don't go to far north because there is a significant force waiting to be triggered. Unite with the auxillaries in the south and attack the fortified city from the back. Before attacking a city, stay off 2 hexes (outside the visibilty of the defending infantry) iot prevent its reinforcements. I achie...

Re: The Sturmpanzer 1 is too long ranged

Developer input on this? The reason why this unit exists in the game at all is to have an early self-propelled option. Historically very few were produced, so it is already a stretch. The question I ask myself is: - Do people buy Sturmpanzer now? - Will they buy it if its range is dropped to 2? Som...

Having played both now, I think the french part is easier, I lost 3 core units on the british path and almost all my prestige I've saved in order to have a Decisive Victory at Arras.

Re: My idea: "Clash of Steel" large WWII Europe sc

Since the mechanics in PC work well and the concept allows scaling from tactical to strategical battles, and scripting is also possible, my humble idea would be a huge WWII scenario like with those old games "Clash of Steel" or "High Command" with a huge map and 255 turns. I mea...
