Re: Panzer Corps: US Corps beta announcement!
Is there any new Equipment ? For example : jet aircraft of US, P-59B or P-80 ? Please don't say Me-262(USA version)... No, no new made in USA equipment. This is very disappointing. A key weapon missing from the USA forces in PzC is the M115 8" howitzer. These were used in World War II, as well...

Re: Panzer Corps Patch v1.24
I download the update from the iPad and when I start the game the red bar loads partway through then stops. I have to wait about a miniute for It to finish. Welcome to the club. I think what bothers me the most is that Slitherine has not even accepted that there are any problems with their patch. T...

Re: Ipad version Not Working
VPaulus: What you describe is what I saw as well. However after the main menu appeared, everything was locked; i.e. none of the buttons (New Game, Load Game, etc) responded.

Re: Panzer Corps Patch v1.24
OK, I updated my Ipad to Ios 9 (which I had not done before bc of fears of compatibility issues). I then deleted Panzer Corps, rebooted, and then reinstalled Panzer Corps. Game is now working, but of course it torched my saved games. Never had an issue like this with other Panzer Corps patches/updat...

Re: Panzer Corps Patch v1.24
The patch killed my ipad version, can't launch new game or load saved game. In fact, can't get game to work at all now, whereas before I never had any problems. Great patch.

Ipad version Not Working
My ipad version won't launch now. I get a red bar that goes about 2/3 across, then long pause before main menu appears. But when menu appears I can't do anything, the screen is locked. Can't load game, play new game, etc. keys don't respond when I press them, screen just plain locked. I have never h...

Re: Panzer Corps in-app Allied Campaigns Not Working on iPad
My ipad version is not working at all. I too get a red bar about 2/3 across, long pause, then cuts to main menu but screen is locked. I.e. I can't load game, start new game etc. Was working just fine earlier today, and always for that matter, before this evening. What the hell did you guys do with t...

Re: DLC 42-43 West: German Strategy for Salerno?
Thanks for the advice ThvN! The critique of my artillery is especially useful. The SiG 33 II is in the initial force assigned at the opening of the 42/43 West campaign. I kept it b/c of its 12-9 attack factors, and b/c the Wespe and Hummel looked like (expensive) lateral upgrades. Clearly a mistake ...

Re: DLC 42-43 West: German Strategy for Salerno?
I *wished* I had saved at the choice stage. They ain't fooling when they say Salerno is difficult. I will be interested in hearing how your attempt/s pan out. The good news is that even if you lose Salerno, you still get to continue with the Italian campaign.

Re: DLC 42-43 West: German Strategy for Salerno?
Thanks, but I think you are talking about the Syracuse scenario? There are no Italians, or evacuations of, in Salerno.

DLC 42-43 West: German Strategy for Salerno?
Hello all, I'm playing the Salerno scenario in DLC 42-43 at General level and keep getting hammered. My force (at max # for core): Air: 4 x Fw190a, 1 x Me-410 AAA: 1 x 128mm, 1 x 88mm Armor: 2 x SS Tigers, 1 x SS Panther A, 1 x Panther A Infantry: 5 x '43 Grenadiers, 1 x 43' FJ Artillery: 2 x 21cm M...

Re: Ober-Ost . . .
Germany's conquests in the East were not as productive as Ludendorff (and others) had hoped. The Treaty of Brest-Litovsk was not finalized until spring 1918, so there ended up not being much time. The rail system in the former Russian Empire was limited, and had been badly damaged. There was a short...

Re: Commander: The Great War 1.4.2 Official Patch releases!
First, thank you for the latest patch. I really enjoy this game and appreciate the support you give it. Second: You guys really have to get the USA geography fixed. Killington, VT is a small ski resort town. It has no political/military/industrial significance whatsoever. Yet here it's worth more th...

Russian Morale in 1917 Scenario
Russian national morale in the 1917 scenario is set at 99%. That's not even close to the historical situation. The Russian Army was a very fragile instrument under the Provisional Govt. (post-Czar "republic"), and the failure of the Kerensky Offensive in July sent Russia tumbling over the ...

Re: New Open Beta Commander: The Great War v1.20 now availab
New mechanism for surrender works great in 1.20, *much* more realistic for both sides. However there is a problem. The game crashes constantly with any non-1914 scenario start, in fact I can't even play one turn to completion. This has happened as CP and Allies. No problems before (original or 1.14)...

Re: New Open Beta Commander: The Great War v1.20 now availab
Played 1.20 through a number of times from both sides starting in 1914. AI remains very good (Played on balanced setting). However, the German fleet keeps doing the kamikaze attack in the North Sea each and every time. Definitely needs to be fixed, especially given the major blow to morale that the ...
