Ipad version Not Working

My ipad version won't launch now. I get a red bar that goes about 2/3 across, then long pause before main menu appears. But when menu appears I can't do anything, the screen is locked. Can't load game, play new game, etc. keys don't respond when I press them, screen just plain locked. I have never had a problem with this game before, have all the expansions. What the hell did you guys do?

Please can you uninstall the game, then please press and hold the Home and Hold buttons until the Apple logo appears. Then allow your device to reboot, then please reinstall the app and see if you can then access the content.

I use ipad 3 ios 9.02...its work just fine...what ipad and what ios version do you have?

Ipad air ios 9, I think it has something to do with the fact if you have purchased the 'give me everything' expansion.

We've just tested this on an iOS9 iPad 4, and the initial Slitherine logo shows, then it loads to 2/3rds of the bar, then it finishes.
There is a pause of a few seconds between the 2/3rds and the main menu, so how long have you left this after having loaded the app?

VPaulus: What you describe is what I saw as well. However after the main menu appeared, everything was locked; i.e. none of the buttons (New Game, Load Game, etc) responded.

Exactly the same problem here iPad 1 version 5.1.1

Slow red line then loads main menu page but non of the buttons can be pressed. Have been patient but still nothing can be activated. Have rebooted, no joy.

After a bit of playing around, it seems the problem might be with the location of the screen press detection. I seem to be able to select the buttons by pressing else where on the screen. Weird and the game is unplayable.

For those who can, please can you update your iPad to iOS 8 or greater then run the game and see if the issue persists.

Bubbley, you may be the user on the helpdesk, but unfortunately the new version will not work on your iPad. One thing we are going to do, as the product page needs to be updated, is we are going to create a new product for 1.24 which will then have the page display as available for iOS 8 and above. Then we will retire the old page, but this will be enabled for those who can only run the old version to download the 1.23 version from the old product page. Hopefully you will find this solution useful to you, but it will need an existing purchase for the game showing in iTunes before this split.

Not sure I really understand your response. I think you are telling me that 2.14 is not comparable with ios5.1.1 this is a direct contradiction of the information you guys are providing in the app store.

I also think you are asking me to roll back to 2.13 how do I do this?
How will I play multiplayer using 2.13?
What will happen to all of my saved games progress?

I also think you are saying that you intend to fix this problem, what are your expected time frames?
