A BG of 8 x MF, Bw 2 ranks deep are just under 6 MU's from a target battle group directly to their front. How many dice are used for shooting? What I am trying to establish is if the second rank of Bw are not being penalised for being out of effective range AND for being a rear rank.

Mounted Infantry
The Assyrian test list specifies Mounted Infantry (Kallapani). I can't find anything in the rules about how they should be based or how they move. Have I missed something?

Classification of Troops
Hi
Has anyone an idea of what an Avar RCv(S) should be classified as in FOG? I have assumed Cavalry, Superior, Armoured, Drilled, Lance, Bow*, Sword. Also what would a Middle Assyrian RBd(F) become and would the LF supports be the same quality?

1. Yes. 2. Yes. 3. Yes. 4. No. The chariots chose to continue to pursue. Bases in contact were removed from the pike battle group. The chariot on the left of the battlegroup was still in contact with a pike when it was charged by the knights. We played it as you have stated but were not sure if this...

Hi Everyone I have recently joined the test group. I am based in Christchurch, NZ and will be testing the rules with Basil Moskovis. Basil and I received our rules just over 2 weeks ago and have already had 4 enjoyable games. Both Basil and I were both DBM addicts and anti anything that challenged D...

Hi There Why could the contacted BG not conform to the charging BG? In Lawrence's example a BG in an 8 deep column is hit on the rear elements side by a LH BG. In the melee phase the LH BG conforms to the front of the BG in column. What if the following occured instead? In the Impact phase the LH el...
