Is anyone who has won this sce be willing to confess which flag they decided to hold to the bitter end? I've been trying the VP at the house ... but I'm thinking maybe I need to circle the wagons elsewhere.

No no no. You misunderstood my post. I do not use cheats in any wargame. I never have or never will. You're right what's the point !!

My point was that the sce is very very hard. I've started another ... and I'm going to keep going till I win. I usually do. And hearing others say they've beat it ...

I tried it again. There's no way to win this scenario unless you know the cheats. OR, you get lucky and find the way to win thru dozens of game plays.

I relaoded and upgraded my BA game and have been doing OK through Africa and now Normandy. I have not won all battles 1st time through but have struggled and won 2nd replays.

But this one is just too overwhelming. Does anyone have a strategy to hold on to one VP? I also noticed ...

Another twist would be to have titles for the Commanders. Such as Raus and his battes northwest of Stalingrad along the Aksay River; Manstein's actions around Kharkov ...

that's good for me ... panic does strange things to people.
What I want is the player controlled ability to back up my tank a sector or two. Many times I've "hunted" ... sneaked around and came up on a superior tank and wished I could back up behind a building or ridge then turn tail and run ... or ...

If the scenarios are getting an update, I'd like to see all scenarios with infantry, MG, Mortar, and any human elements have Medics. I know some scenarios should have more limitation on medical care but scenario's with no medics seems a little unrealistic. You can manage the level of medical care ...

The addition of reverse will make this one of the best armored combat games on the market ... imho. I really like this game but no reverse for tanks really dampened my enjoyment because I could see the potential from an armored conflict standpoint. Reverse would be my first choice. You can't back up ... if you run into trouble with a tank and want to back out of it, you have to present your rear end to the enemy

Medics should be a part of every scenario with foot soldiers except maybe a scouting mission. (maybe ... but I could argue a medic ...

Here's my unique problem.

Some scenarios have names that don't match the single player (AI) scenario's. (like desert rats or desert encounter)
Some of the PBEM scenarios have the same name as the single player scenarios. (like clash of armor)

Is there a list of PBEM scenario's that come stock ...

I've seen German recon vehicles (Puma's I think) on numberous occasions in the Normandy campaign slug it out with Shermans and M18s (etc) for several shots back and forth. I have not researched this but that does not seem right. IMHO a Sherman (even a lowly 75mm) or a Churchill (etc) would dispense ...

I agree with the soldier ... there seems to be too few grunts, engineers, MG teams, etc. as compared to the normal scenario.

Being able to combine infantry units (engineers, rangers and even two man teams (mortar, 30 cal, bazooka, etc) would be a good addition. Especially when the scenario does not have a Medic.

When you don't have a Medic you really have to protect your foot soldiers.

I have a MP question. When I go to the MP screen I see a list of games with red padlocks and green (opened) padlocks. (I have not tried to join one yet but I will in the next day or two ...)

No because think about this: A newcomer buys the game but never visits the forums. (I understand that the majority of sales are from those that don't visit forums) So he/she goes to the multiplayer feature and what do they see? NOTHING NADA ZILCHO BLANKO, so they have no way of knowing there's 100 ...

After playing several more battles where I'm winning around 50%, I feel a need to reiterate my desire for the next expansion to be an eastern front set of scenarios and equipment databases.

I know eastern front has been done to death but for an exellent engine like this, having a set of stock Axis ...
