Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
To all.
I haven't lost interest in this Mod. I'm off to Vegas for a few days.
I'll actually miss it.

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
It's gotten to the point, and I know this is the AI not your Mod, as soon as I take out Serbia I'll shift AH troops to the Italian front and declare war on Italy if it's not in the war yet. As soon as Italy comes in, the AI gets stupid in France. With your Mod it's not as stupid, but it's still stup...

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
I'd like it f the Cossack effect was gone, or perhaps a one time event cancelled out when the Russians are driven out.
I under stand the rationale behind the event, but I'm not sure it should be bigger than capturing Warsaw.
Thanks.

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
That makes sens. I don't push the Russians out of East Prussia early on, because I focus on captured Warsaw. I didn't realize that the Cossack event keeps applying turn to turn. I'll give it another try and work on clearing East Prussia earlier. I tried to edit the event, but my Modding skills aren'...

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
I lost. Germans surrendered August 1917. The US hadn't even declared war yet.
I'd taken the line Rouen, Paris, Verdun, Toul, and Nancy.
Holding in the East. They had their first Revolution in March and the Kerensky offensive had failed.
And I still lost. NM had been a Zero for several turns.

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
New PotzBlitz developments. This has been a different game. First, the Swedes joined the war on the side of the Central Powers. Then on Turn 43, the Greeks and the Swiss entered the war on the side of the Entente. I never expected to see the Swiss declare war. What is odd is that these declarations ...

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
Another minor thing I noticed. When I disband Small Garrisons I do not get back any Manpower Points. I do for other units, but not for the SGs.

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
I understand. I'm just providing feedback. I think you've done a great job. I'm struggling to figure out how things work, because there are so many new variables. I suspect that my old strategy of holding in the West and going all out in the East may be the problem. Now that I've switched back to th...

1916. I'm holding in the East and attacking in the West. I've taken Verdun and Paris! National Morale is at 14!

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
I hold the line (I'm attached the save file above) and hold the line that includes Antwerp, Brussels, Liege, and Reims. In the East, I took Warsaw and its fortress in 1914, and have advanced well past Brest Litovsk. I sank the Russian Dreadnought. And I kicked in the ersatz event with the extra arti...

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
Okay. Great. Started a new game as the CP. Lots of variability, which is super. Italians are coming, but did not enter the war in 1916. (I'm now into January 1916.) The Rumanians came in early, very early. But when they did, the Bulgarians came in early and marched into Bucharest. The Swedes also en...

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
Just some feedback and questions on PotzsBlitz. Rail movement. I always thought it should be longer. I think it's about 16 now. But if each turn is now four weeks, rather than two, shouldn't it be 32? Playing a new start as the CP. By turn 10 my NM is down to 44. It had been 119. What happened? I di...

Re: POTZBLITZ: a mod for CTGW UPDATE V2.5
Played the game through to the end. Disappointing finish. I thought I was winning as the CP. Took out Serbia. Crushed Romania. Contained and then smashed The Army of the Orient and the Bulgarians recaptured Thessaloniki. The Turks were holding everywhere. The Swedes entered the war on my side, allow...

I assume you're interested in military history. If you PM me a mailing address, and a name, unless you want a book inscribed to Robotron, I'll be happy to send you a copy of one of my books that covers the Great War.
Thanks for all your work.
