The Khmer List still need the Ph'Kak'Men included they are not a myth the did exist and would be classed as unprotected MF undrilled heavy weapon even a group of 4-6 would suffice. They are included on the carvings at Ankor Wat beside all the other troops I cant see the problem.

The link above clearly shows the Ph'kak men at Ankor Wat which also shows all the other troop types within the Khmer army.
Other rule sets are not the issue but they did exist.

In a shoot out and hand to hand I would prefer the superior any day don’t forget the re rolls for superior on ones and poor on sixes this is the main reason.

Just take out two equal units yourself and simulate a battle and the superior will win most times
