I remember back when Field of Glory: Empires came out, there was discussion on the forums about exporting naval battles to Mare Nostrvm, but the two games were too incompatible.

i have the same problem too.
No savegane is loading anymore. From the continue button i end in the endless loading window. The Load game menu throws me back to the main menu.
The sandbox game was started with 02. The campaign was started with 01 but the mission was started with 02.

On point one, I would guess that the special rules for the Diadochi are the reason. For Macedonia, they don't age in any turn that they expand, but age at twice the rate any turn that they don't. "You are overextended."
What does it mean in the diplomacy modifiers when it says, "You are overextended"? I'm not sure how to fix the problem.

That is the problem I'm having. I loaded a game where I am about 150 turns in, and those three nations (Teutonii, Helvetii, Saxones) have appeared on the map. I click on them in the Change Factions screen, and they aren't available.

antiochosvii, I believe, if you go to settings during the game, you have the option to change to another faction.
Somehow I never noticed that button! I was wondering how to switch to newly created factions.

I double-checked in the game, doing all of the math by hand, and it looks as though the net infrastructure distribution is 100% of the current net production of a province, not 50% as it says in the manual. as to the manual, its set up so you can read Ch3, 17 and maybe 18. That won't give you all the info you need but it will give you an idea what you should be looking out for. Ch 19 is also a good overview as to the major game mechanics.

It has been mentioned here before that Field of Glory: Empires uses the new Archon Engine, the same engine as Field of Glory 2. I checked the "STRUCTURES.CSV" file, and the only requirement I see for upgrading it past the first level is that the region must have a Tier 2 Road.

If you are playing in Steam, then F12 takes a screenshot. If not, then I suppose you have to do the old PrtScn and paste in Microsoft Paint.
