did the trick before the reinstall.

well interestingly enough after i uninstalled i wen looking into my program files folder and discovered a slitherine and a slitherine(1) folder

so i have deleted those and im gonna try another reinstall before i go mucking into registry.


i will keep you updated.

OK uninstalled completely ordered teh blitkrige thinking the added licence would help.


ok we installed from scrach.... and still getting the same issue. 90k ghost version running according to Task manager.


guy im gonna have to uninstall and hack it out of my registry... figures.. hehe i finnaly ...

this is really strange when i start the game it doesn't start. so i re start and it starts as if its the first time

make me run the last scenero of the tutorial and then i can play MP.

I also notice that in my Task manager...

when i run BA the first time it creates an instance of the game ...

OK during all the process of helping hetzer get set up i used my client of BA as a trouble shooting tool.

so yesterday i uninstalled and re installed and then updated. but now every time i start the game it acts like its my first time...


shows a log of the update data, then it starts but locks ...

So a little history

John (Hetzer) and I have played PBEM Steel panthers for decades now....


when i stumbled onto this game through Matrix games i was hooked bigtime...

Hetzer got setup sometime after that and we played a few turns of MP ( i have email logs on 9/1/10) and then his PC crashed ...

His problem there is that when he enters his email into the reset password he doesnt get an email with the password reset...


SO I will make sure he gets this post and emails you.

cool i managed to create a username helphetzer using my wifes email address and it worked. i gave the password to hetzer so he can use that to login

and respond.


also point out that his email is in slitherines system since it wont allow more then 1 username per email.

yea we explored all of those options earlier ourselves, i even had him check his spam folder in email to see what could be going on there.

the thing that is throwing me off from a troubleshooting standpoint is the fact that i found him in the forums member list and his join date is the right date ...

he registered back in august and we actually played 1 game... of multilayer... but he had a system crash he says and had to reload windows. ever since hasn't been able to log into website or multi player..


he has tried to send himself an email password reset, but he doesn't receive the emails ...
