A VERY limited back up would be good. I'm sure you guys thought of smoke and decided against it. At times I think it would be good, although I don't believe there was a lot of use of smoke in WWII.

Whatever you do, please... PLEASE... do not make the expansion an Russian front game..!!! I so don't enjoy playing Russian v German.. Africa, Italy, Europe and definately Pacific or other theatres, but not Russian v German :)

nope. GUess I can uninstall and then reinstall and see what happens. You know, I didn't completely delete the folder after i uninstalled the demo. I think the full game is in the same folder system. Wonder if there's a conflict with something left over?

I attempted to play the street fight map with a diffrerent player, and I get the same error message. Are others able to play that one?

The file is back and I tried to take my turn again. I get the same error message. The load up art is there with the scroll bar, but it freezes and I alt-tab and see the error box. I wouldn't even know how to tinker with the files and haven't tried :) All other games (MP) i';ve played and am playing ...

OUch, I just got wiped out in the Skirmish battle! I actually like that as it shows that things aren't too easy.. for me at least :)

Thought I'd add:

When I played the desert battles and then saw the Normandy one open up, it was like Christmas with new, fresh things to play with! :) It may sound trivial, but that kind of change and variety makes a good game much better and last longer.
