Re: FOGR at Fall-In 2013

I don't see my Spanish made your list. And I think that the Scots are going to be a different year.

Re: FOGR at Fall-In 2013

I also made a mistake in saying Friday is fine. I meant Saturday is fine by me just need to decide soon, so I can plan my games as well.

COLD WARS THEME - Friday

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT - I'll start a new topic since this hasn't been discussed for months. Since nobody seems to want to run the FOG-R Tourney at Cold Wars, I'll step up and run a theme on Friday. As many of you know I have a set of Soccer/Football/Futebol/Footy rules that I also run games for; therefor...

Re: Lurkio 15mm 9 Years War

Not to be talking about a competitor and jumping in on Simon's business, but I did talk to Andy of Sgt Major Miniature, 3 days ago at Fall-In. He stated that the "masters" he was given for the line were in bad shape, and the molds were completly shot (already known). He is having to remake...

Regimental Guns (subsequent impacts)

We had this situation come up during a weekend game. A unit of pike and shot with regimental gun were involved in a melee with another unit, however only 4 of the bases were in contact. During the following impact phase a new unit charged the pike and shot frontally. Does the regimental gun fire? Th...

Re: Are bow too good or am I just useless

I've been out of the loop here and have run into a couple of these points. Bows - The army is good, but the key is to choose a spot to attack. When I played Iverson I made some bad mistakes, but I attacked the bow in 4 locations with the Colonial Portuguese army. If my swordsmen hitting his end unit...

They look nice. And of course I am interested, but at this point in time I already have a bunch of South Americans to paint.

Re: Army for Britcon

My funniest experience was returning from Brasil one time. I lived there for 2 years and had painted quite a few figures, but not all of those I took down. I knew the X-ray was going to flag them so I had them packaged at the top of my carry-on. (Granted my carry-on weighed about 50 lbs due to lead....

Re: FOGR at Fall-In 2012 (Nov 2-4)

That is what I will plan so I am running my Football/Soccer game Friday night then and playing Fog(R) Saturday. Is it 650 for both scales or 800/650?

For FOG-N I believe that there are going to be loaners - Dan would be the one to ask.

Re: Historicon July 20-21

I will bring an army ECW Royalists that anyone can use. Someone will have to catch me Thursday, because I won't be playing in the Friday FOG-R stuff. I will be running my Soccer games then. I might hand the army to Dan to pass on if need be.

Andy,

I am sorry to hear that it happened.
Did you have the serial numbers for the electronics? It really helps in recovery if you do.

If you got a "free" loaner army from Walt, I would wonder what the real price is gonna be? :-)

Re: Historicon July 20-21

For which touney - If you are doing the Friday One (TYW/ECW) I have a royalist army I can bring. If it is for the Saturday, I can bring you the dreaded Tupi. My Chinantec will not be ready either.
