Re: Newbie needs some help
If you have extremely high quality units you might want to disband them and get new ones. This mainly concerns units like the legionaries who are typically good enough to beat almost anything out of the box and after a few battles the low total number of units will hurt you more than the excessive ...

Re: Newbie needs some help
A couple of follow-up questions: 1. What are some typical garrison strategies? Waiting on reinforcements vs. calling Spanis...

Hi
Kudos for this mod, complements the base game very well, working my way through a 15 battle campaign as Hannibal and really getting a kick out of it, thanks to any and all involved.

If your as old as me, mid 50s, you remember before computers that we did all this with cardboard, now we can use those boardgames as templates for computer maps, the link below takes you to a boardgame site, with a map image of Ukraine at a high level of represenation, this would give you a good hug...

Winter camo as an upgrade
Has anyone tried to introduce winter camo units as part of the upgrade path?, ie they become aviable only in the winter period, cost no more than the vanilla unit they replace till summer kit comes back in.

changing music audio to ambient combat sounds.
Music was starting to get stale, so i used this http://www.youtube-mp3.org/#v=Nwac8FeG5VQ to pull the mps from the following, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nzqyPzW1o8 and replacing the music file in audio folder. You can pull the sounds from anything and then splice them together, may be of use t...

Re: Battlefield: Europe MOD v1.5
When you started out, what map size and unit density as a max value did you find was practible?, even with no cache is there a memory problem with save game size?. Basicly what would you suggest as the max size of map?. I saw a mod of a massive map size that never was completed, was it an issue of m...

Re: Unit purchases - how to make them automatically rename?
Im sure you have your own concept for this, but if you have a selection of custom cities, you can introduce an element of styles of cities, ie Legionary Fortress (Xanten on the Rhine, defended gateway to Germania), in game terms high defence low line of sight, Provincial oppodium, (Londinium in Engl...

Re: Unit purchases - how to make them automatically rename?
Ok, then if you cant edit it so as to provide a custom name, then instead just have each city as a seperate unit with name, and purchase them, i assume its the player not the AI doing this, so you still get the right named city in the region you want, unless you hit the max number of slots of unit ty...

Re: Unit purchases - how to make them automatically rename?
Just a thought, but if its a new type of unit, dont you define its name in the first place?, when adding it to the file, and then the program gives it a number.
