When you sell metal, does the metal just disappear into the void, or does it actually go into the accounts of the other (virtual) players, perhaps including your enemies?
Also, I seem to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting for the decision to allow me to sell metal. Seems strange that a "ruler" who can declare war cannot sell scrap metal!
Really enjoying this fine game.

Re: Question and comment about selling metal
You can not sell if no one wants to buy, BUT you can start diplomacy with other nations and see what they want to give for your metal! gold, units or coop maybe.

Re: Question and comment about selling metal
Actually, I was referring to the decision to "equip the poor" where you "sell" 300 metal to get some manpower. Now, does the metal go into the "void" or possibly into the hands of your enemies?
Re: Question and comment about selling metal
I've been selling metal repeatedly over the last 200 turns and no one has attacked my faction, so I would say that it just vanishes. Same for manpower to money.
