Mounted Infantry?

Post by Ludendorf »

I was wondering if there were any plans to develop 'dragoon' type infantry who ride around the battlefield, but dismount to actually fight. I know that warriors often rode to the battle but then dismounted to fight, and this is represented in-game, but were there ever instances of infantry staying mounted during the battle, only to ride to a key spot and dismount while the battle itself was actually underway?

Pretty much no. If it ever occurred, it was rare enough that one would not want to make it a regular occurrence in the game. (Which is what would happen if it was permitted).

(Been there, done that - in previous rules - got the teeshirt).
