Re: PzC2-STEAM is not loading-up a SAVE in the Campaign

"maybe?...the Game won't "start or load-up"... because... perhaps the 'Scenario-Map' I am now using during this next-scenario in this "KURSK 1943 Campaign"... is possibly corrupted or has something to do with this situation?... of not being able to continue the Campaign?.

Well!!!... it looks like that... 'I Thought Wrong'... I instead... restarted from the very beginning... of the... "KURSK 1943 Campaign"... Now!..at last!. PzC2 is working the way it was meant too!... no more problems at this particular point in the Game.

However... later on, further on in this same Campaign... specifically on the Map that has the 2-Major Cities in it... namely... KHARKOV & BELGOROD.... this is where everything went to 'Hell'!... the Game... "Freezes-Up"... goes into 'Lock-Down' mode?. It will not function or play... any further at this juncture.

I don't know if these are development specific or if you'll find them in the release version.

Other than that, it would be useful if you posted in the tech support forum too as some of the tech guys have direct links to that rather than looking in here.

So... I went to...
Users/Username/My Documents/My Games/Panzer Corps 2/Cache ... and deleted the "Cache"... as instructed. Then tried to re-load the SAVE from where I left off before my-crash took place... and the Game would still not function from this SAVE-GAME location, however... as stated before... if I again begin at the "Very-Start" of the Campaign... then at this point... the Game is working perfectly.

In Conclusion: Is there any-way to resolve this dilemma?... with instructions... I can provide the previous SAVE prior to final SAVE... where everything went down-hill... if that would be of any help to you.

Additional Follow-Up:
zakblood also left me some preventative maintenance measures that I could do on "STEAM"... so I did those!.

At last... I relented and finally decided to try "Kursk" [I had to choose either... SICILY or KURSK] once again... so I 'Loaded-Up' the last fully functioning working 'SAVE' that I had... to then replicate the steps that I did before... to see if there would be any change In how things worked out.

I loaded up the good "SAVE"... finished up the 'Saved' game to get it to proceed onto the next 'Scenario' which was "Kursk", deployed all of my units... then clicked the 'Hour-Glass' Icon in the upper-right hand corner of the screen to start the Scenario.

Again!... the Game completely 'Froze-Up'???. What can be done to untangle this mess?.
