Hey i wanted to say thank you so much for this awsome dlc , i feel so good that somebody made s.th about my homeland Persia , i just wanted to say 2 thing 1. Cyrus the great was about 50 yrs old in 550 b.c and the only historian that said he died in massagatae campign was Herodotus , but Xenphon in Cyrophedia and the Persian historian and storyteller Ferdowsi in Shahname said Cyrus died in pasargadae by natural death , Ferdowsi called Cyrus ( KeyKhosrow ) his name in Iranian is Kurush and there are lots of information that we can see right now like his tomb that is in Pasargadae which means Cyrus died in Pasargadae

The evidence is that what you see in those pictures is parade/palace dress, and that Persian soldiers (including Immortals) on campaign wore the rather more practical Median dress, as depicted in the game.

See

"The Achaemenid Persian Army" by Duncan Head. Montvert Publications, 1992

in which the evidence is displayed and discussed in detail.

I strongly recommend this book if you can get hold of a copy.
