I just recently started playing OOB. I really like the game so far, but I immediately noticed a strange and very annoying rendering issue with water tiles:
I always see a clearly visible "area" - some kind of strangely formed "view cone" - when moving the camera over water tiles. This area is only visible when playing with "3D World Map". It's not there when playing with "2D World Map" or "3D Tactical Map".
For the most part, the water is rendered quite beautifully, with lots of details and reflections. However, outside that area, the water has a slightly different color and it seems is rendered with less detail, e.g. less sunlight reflections.
The area has quite sharp borders left and right. Furthermore, the inside of the area also has "spots" where some parts of the water tiles are also rendered in less detail. So it's not really a homogeneous area, but it looks more like "clouds" where some parts of the water is rendered in full detail and some parts are not.
It's quite difficult to describe, but it's clearly visible all the time, especially when scrolling the camera.
This rendering issue only affects water tiles. There are no issues with land tiles.
Although it's clearly visible on the following screenshots (I've marked the boundaries of the area with red lines to even better illustrate the issue), it's much more visible in the live game when scrolling the camera.

Finally, a few details about my system: I'm playing the latest version of the game, 8.4.1. I'm on Windows 10 with a 21:9 widescreen, the resolution is 2560 x 1080 and I'm using a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 with up-to-date drivers.
Any help with this rendering issue would really be appreciated. It's much more noticeable in the live game when scrolling than it is on these static screenshots and therefore it is really annoying and absolutely spoils the fun of scenarios with large water surfaces. I really hope there is a fix for this.
Thanks a lot in advance!
