Computer Crash

I played Panzercorps 2 until the latest update without issue. However, now when I play, I randomly crash. My entire pc has to restart. I am not sure what type of error this is and there is no way for the autoreporting feature to work. Please let me know how I can best troubleshoot this. The last three crashes were a turn 8 attack on my units by a French fighter. This caused two total crashes. I cleared the game out entirely, reinstalled from scratch. In my Poland first mission turn 1, I crashed while attempting to split a unit of grenadier. Another crash occurred in Poland mission 2 when attacked by a unit of cavalry. I do not know if this helps but I did my best to remember what caused it. I am a big fan of the game, please let me know what I need to do to get back on track.

The oddest thing is that you did not experience this issue before the update... Were there any changes on your PC before you installed it? Any hardware, drivers, settings?

Also, when you are running the game, what GPU load does Task Manager show? Will it help if you reduce all graphics settings to minimum before starting any scenario (main menu -> OTHER -> OPTIONS)?

That is odd admittedly. My system specs are a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 4.7 ghz i7 and 64 gb of memory. I was running the game on medium across the board. I had not had any new updates software wise. In an attempt to retry, I reset my computer to the stock settings. Re-updated everything and will do another run of the game tonight. I'll let you know if I encountered any problems.

I don't know if this is a clue to your trouble- the game runs fine on my new PC (Win 10), but when I play it on my old PC (Win 7 with older vid card) this message comes up-




However I ignore the message and the game runs fine, the only graphics issue I notice is that the roundels and stars are missing from the wings of planes with the older card.
