Karl Gustav in NA victory route

Would it be possible to add the option to purchase Karl when going the North Africa route to victory. I was able to buy it when playing the Russia victory branch, even though I did not initially get it as I went Barbarossa North. However it was missing from the equipment pool when I took the N.A. route. I would be nice to have as an option, as it does make London and the East Coast much less painful.
