Hi
I have two separate panzercorps purchases. I bought PzC originally and the I bought the gold package so I have two separate serial numbers. What I wish to do is have two separate PzC installations so I can play unmodded MP games on one install and then modded MP games on the other install . I have had problems in the past using JSGME to swop game files. Is this possible to do? I was unable to install another version of PzC with different serial key on my computer. The version that is registered to me on steam and on my computer is the gold version. The version of the game I bought before the gold bundle will not install.
If i bought another copy of PzC with a different slitherine account would I be able to install that on my computer and have a separate MP account ?

You can just copy (i.e. duplicate) the core file folder of your main PzC gold installation and adjust this one with modded games, i.e. just copy-paste the folder and start the game from the exe in this folder but don't install another / second full copy of the game...

thanks for that I'ii give it a go . I thought I tried something like this before and I had message game already registered . Game wouldn't start off panzer corps.exe. But mod has a panzer corps steam.exe and it did start off that. I've posted a MP game I'll see how it goes

Ah Steam and CRC check... then I don't really know, maybe still worth a try, not sure...
My comments were based on the normal stand-alone version from Slitherine, I have Battlefield Europe installed this way as I did not want to use JSGME back then.

Hi
So the way you have set up your panzercorps files with one install from your downloaded files from slitherine and then a copy of your original installation works fine . Both installations have same serial number and you use one for multiplayer vanilla unmodded games and the other for modded games with same user name and log in for each one?
Looking at my steam purchase record both panzercorps gold and my original panzercorps were bought from slitherine but i then got steam keys to install them via steam . so if what you suggested does not work i will try downloading and installing from slitherine and try to copy what you have done.

Cool, glad to hear...
Personally, I think it is cleaner this way in two ways, first you don't have to rely on JSGME too much and second you don't have to potentially upset your regedit file with two (possibly?) conflicting installations.
