Bought the game again - played this last circa 5 years ago need help

I have just re purchased the game after a very very very long absence.

I have a few questions - firstly - how do i get the latest patch or is the purchased GS 2.0 the latest version.

Secondly getting an opponent would be great. Ive tried this a few times myself. Im going to get stomped but may as well try.

There's two versions

The Grand strategy and another labeled Installer

The grand strategy is integrated with a community made mod by the same name

Installer I assume is the original version without the mod
