fix for sounds for tanks

Post by TopGun1 »

I had no sound for tanks but when you have the animation speed up to high the movement is faster then the sound bite can respond, I went to display settings in the game and animation speed and lowered the animation speed to 5 and the sounds for the tanks worked. I hope this helps worked for me. :D

Sorry but it seems even when I did that works sometimes ,updated audio drivers and still the sound is not there all the time as far as the tanks. Seems to work for a while then nothing for tracked vehicles.

tracked sounds maybe a fix

Post by TopGun1 »

these are the settings I needed to use playing the polish campaign in order to get the vehicles to make sounds at least on my system. Another strange thing is if I zoomed out when trying to use my scout it didnt make sound but when I zoomed in it came back but all the tanks in the first scene of the polish campaign worked. I attached my settings dont know if this will help the devs but so far it has worked on my system.

Do I understand correctly that you needed to crank up the volume of Environment effects to maximum in order to fix this issue?

when are you going to fix tracked vehicle sounds

Post by TopGun1 »

Hi ,
been playing the game alone and multi, the sounds are there for everything else except the tracked vehicles is there going to be a fix for this or do we have to keep playing without the sound, every driver has been updated on my system. If it can play all the rest of the sounds then it should be able to play the tracked sounds or maybe redo a new file for it ,it is kinda annoying.
Thanx

I've checked all audio files, and all settings look correct, and I cannot repro the issue on my end. But we'll keep trying. I understand that it's annoying.

is it possible to just add another sound file instead of trying to fix it I have added my dxdiag file dont know if that will shed any light on my problem.

Has anyone had a issue with tracked vehicle sounds if so what was the fix

Post by TopGun1 »

Has anyone else had a issue with tracked vehicle sounds, every other sound works and then once in a while you might get a sound from a tracked vehicle. Is there a fix or do I need a new sound card seems to me if it can play all the others it should play those.

merged into one post, as tbh all on the same subject by the same poster, so no need for 4 threads on the same subject

I have some wheeled vehicle sounds when my tanks are moving...that's lame.
I prefer order of battles sounds !

The problem of quiet sounds, especially when vehicles are moving, has been asked about quite often. I bought a new PC and the problem still persists. So it doesn't depend on the hardware technology, but on the sound files. Will there be an update on this at some point?

The difference between the sounds of PC1/OOB and PC2 is not understandable.

Maybe after release of DLC 1941 there is a little time slot to update these important game feature?
