What's your favorite trait?
I think mine is killer team. Starting with the right heroes really has a dramatic effect when you need that power boost to start a new campaign on crazy difficulty settings.

I don´t like killer team, as it is the collecting, team building aspect I like more in such a game.

My favorite is certainly Perimeter Control. I have made much use of the tactical advantages this gives me, especially when combined with Deadly Grasp. This combo might make good use of Flexible Command, but somehow I have rarely been in need to split units. It´s great to spice this up with Trophies of War, because there will be a lot of surrenders.

I do like the Panzer comics - always make me chuckle

As for traits - Yeah I really like Killer team, very strong start to the campaign. I'm also a fan of the Blitzkreig one (faster tanks that move over rivers!) This has made some scenarios a lot easier and actually helps with some encirclements.

The artist originally put a halo backdrop behind the Panzer IVH turret..............

I immediately vetoed that idea. A little too spicy for my 'for fun' comic. lol

Also, I'm pretty sure everyone is much more familiar with Gun Jesus over at Forgotten Weapons dot com.

I really like how completely apolitical he is. It's just interesting information, historical knowledge, and all very interestingly delivered.

The more unusual the gun the more I definitely enjoy learning about it. Like that episode the awful ZIP 22 or the one on origins of Star Wars guns. It's amazing to think this ultra family friendly Disney corporate behemoth hasn't quite been able to scrub the 'war' out of Star Wars. Man they tried with that last abomination of a trilogy too.

Re: apolitical, absolutely agree, there are plenty of popular channels on GunTube just oozing a 'commies tekkin our gewns' vibe, even if it's not said upfront. FW is excellent at avoiding that: while it's also obviously a business strategy, you can see that having visited various gun communities all over the world, Ian has encountered different perspectives on the matter (love his occasional 'gun laws in [country]' videos), and he can go past the Amerocentric bias.

And the huge variety and weird stuff he's covering is absolutely mind-blowing: in addition to what you've mentioned, the list is virtually endless, and I also like how he tries to make something special with better-known guns, like the Thompson SMG series where he got his hands on a collection of every version of the gun, and covered its entire story (including the Blish lock, which I hadn't heard about). And all of that every fracking day. The man's a machine, and an absolute role model.
