I recently went to war with them again in order to liberate some lands from Galatia (it seems I can't pick a fight with Galatia). OK, no problem, I declare war on the protector and all the clients become at war. I beat Galatia in 2 battles and take 2 regions. I suffer no defeats and my WS with Galatia is 27. I now want to make peace to consolidate my gains, but Galatia won't talk to me as it is a client... OK, talk to Byzantion, but the problem here is that they think they are winning with a WS of 27 too (WS -27 for me), see screenshot below. How can this be? I've never even engaged their armies and yet they think they are winning despite the fact that their client has lost 2 battles and 2 regions.
At this rate, I will never be able to win this war without totally elimating Galatia (and I don't want the other regions) or conquering my way through Macedonia to attack Byzantion (or launching a seaborne invasion... and I don't have the ships to do it).
I'm thinking the Protector War Score is not working correctly. Surely it should be negative for the protector if the client is losing... maybe not 100% equivalent, but it is bad for that empire.
