question about multiplayer

question about multiplayer

I've never played multiplayer before. My question is, if I want to play a game against a friend online, do I just set up a multiplayer game according the instructions? Or does that allow anybody to enter the game when they see it listed in the "Open Games" section?

Is there anything in particular that I need to do so that I'll be playing the game specifically against my friend online?

Unfortunately we are currently not supporting private matches (Either password protected or direct matches).
The best you can currently do is have both players online at the same time and snatch the game before someone else takes it as the multiplayer population isn't that big.
