Hi all,

I'd just like to share with you the incredible skill my Huscarls have at killing generals.

I know they are armed with axes and all that, but I didn't know that they were executioner's axes.

So far, out of the 5 games I've used the Vikings in I have killed at least 6 Generals, 4 of which in 2 games.

Just keep them coming, front rank preferably on the left hand side of the unit... the axes on the right hand side is starting to get blunt.

Do you paint battle honours on particular figures of the victorious bases to commemorate such conspicuous success?

I foolishly continue to stick my general in the front rank of a unit in HtH. THAT'S the kiss of death for the unit he decides to give his "hands on help" to. My commanders normally fair better at avoiding the headsman's ax. At the last battle, I did in an enemy commander . Sadly....the enemy got even a turn later......They just had to nail my general, not just a commander!!

I can't hunt them, the enemy has to put them in the right place. But of course when they do I pull out the weighted dice!
